Christina “V” Villarreal, a visiting lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, brings her experience as an education scholar, activist and former middle school social studies teacher to her impassioned teaching of ethnic studies. A pedagogical repertoire rooted in ethnic studies frameworks informs her approaches to facilitating dialogues that encourage and challenge her students to be vulnerable, honest and courageous in their thinking and learning.
