## Tina Grotzer

**Principal Research Scientist at Project Zero**
**Harvard Graduate School of Education**

Tina Grotzer is a faculty member at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Principal Research Scientist at Project Zero, and Director of Causal Learning in a Complex World Research Lab. Grotzer is interested in the relationship between causality and our understanding of complexity in the world. Research informs everything in Grotzer’s *Applying Cognitive Science Research* course. It sets discussion norms, drives Grotzer’s teaching practices, and comprises the core of what students cover. Though the course contains lectures, students also engage in several discussion configurations and consider how their own teaching and learning experiences complement and/or complicate the material they study.
