**Clip Context:**

- “Adult Development,” a graduate course at the Harvard Graduate School of Education with approximately 200 students enrolled.
- This course introduces students to theories of adult development while building practical skills by helping students work on their own improvement goals and giving them a chance to practice coaching others through their goals. Kegan’s diverse set of interactive instructional methods and signature down-to-earth demeanor make the 200-person lecture hall both intimate and productive.
- This clip comes about 25 minutes into the 96-minute class session as Kegan introduces a think-pair-share for students. The camera stays with one pair, and then Kegan leads a debrief.
